The actress began her career as a film actress with a role of Girl 6 (1996), and later, she was a part of the episodes New York Undercover (1997) and The District. Navedo appeared in Double Take, an action-comedy film released in 2001. The drama Washington Heights was released the next year. Navedo was the character Detective Ana Cordova in the NBC series Law & Order from 2001 until 2004. Law & Order: Criminal Intent Damages followed, as did Blue Bloods. Navedo also appeared in many films such as El Cantante and Remember Me. Navedo made an appearance on How to Make It in America Golden Boy, Law & Order: Special Victims Unit between 2011 and 2013, as well. The Comedy film Superfast!
